🇪🇸 Commemorating History Across the Airwaves: The Fiesta Nacional de España Special Event 🌍

On October 12, 2026, the global radio community will unite to celebrate the Fiesta Nacional de España (National Day of Spain) through a special Commemorative Radio Activation (CRA). This historic date marks the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s arrival in the Americas in 1492—an epochal milestone that bridged continents and gave birth to the rich cultural, linguistic, and historical ties shared across the Spanish-speaking world today. From the majestic military parades along Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana to the deeply rooted spiritual celebrations of the Virgen del Pilar in Zaragoza, this national holiday embodies unity, heritage, and international connection.

Carrying forward this spirit of unity through radio waves, operators Sergio 30DA010 and Juan Carlos 34DA183 are proud to bring you a dual-station base activation honoring this historic occasion. Tune in via USB to make contact, collect rare references, and celebrate culture and radio camaraderie across borders! 📻✨
