WBA Commemorative Radio Activation: CRA022 – Diada Nacional del País Valencià
🌍 Welcome to the World Beauties Award (WBA)!
Since 2024, the WBA Team and the Delta Alfa Group have been bridging cultures across the 11-meter band, turning radio waves into instruments of global unity and historical discovery. Today, we proudly present an exclusive new activation: 30DA/CRA022, dedicated to the glorious Diada Nacional del País Valencià! 🏰✨
📜 The Historical Background
The 9th of October (9 d’Octubre) is one of the most profound and historic dates for the entire Valencian Community. It commemorates the triumphant entry of King James I of Aragon (Jaume I el Conqueridor) into the city of Valencia on October 9, 1238, liberating it and founding the historic Kingdom of Aragon. From the traditional civic procession of the Senyera lowered from the City Hall balcony, to the romantic tradition of the Mocadorà (Valentin’s day of sweets and marzipan), and the vibrant echoes of Moors and Christians parades, this day is a vibrant celebration of identity, language, and centuries-old culture.
