The radio-trekking journey along the Santa Barbara Mining Trail (CMSB) presses forward without slowing down! For the seventeenth stage, scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, operator Alex 165DA101, accompanied by his faithful mascot Giacomino and aboard the inseparable white Fiat Panda 169 4×4, will move into the evocative heights surrounding the historic Rosas Mine.
🗺️ The Route: From Rosas toward Nuxis through Mining History
Inspired by the official seventeenth stage connecting Rosas to Nuxis, this leg dives deep into a breathtaking mountainous territory rich in industrial archaeology, old mining villages, and pristine forests. For this portable field activation, the station will position itself directly on the commanding heights overlooking the Rosas Mine area in a portable configuration. Thanks to the legendary off-road capability of the white Fiat Panda 169 4×4, the team will easily tackle the rugged terrain to reach this striking operating post.
