We are thrilled to announce a very special Commemorative Radio Activation (CRA) dedicated to one of the most intense, fiery, and spectacular traditions in Spain: La Cordà de Paterna! 🎇

📜 Historical Context & Tradition

Rooted deeply in the 19th century with antecedents linked to local festivities and brotherhoods honoring the Santísimo Cristo de la Fe, La Cordà has evolved into the ultimate expression of the “culture of fire” in the Valencia region. Recognized officially as a Festival of National Tourist Interest and an Asset of Intangible Cultural Heritage, this unique event transforms Paterna’s historic Calle Mayor into a controlled cage of pure adrenaline (“El Cohetódromo”). Every year on the last Sunday of August, hundreds of expert shooters (tiradors) ignite over 70,000 rockets in a frantic 20-minute display of continuous fire, sound, and light.
