June is a special month for our amateur radio community. Exactly two years ago, in June 2024, a new reality was born—driven by an ambitious vision and fueled by pure passion: the World Beauties Award (WBA). 🌟

Today we celebrate our second anniversary 🥈, a milestone that is not just a marker of time, but a reflection of an extraordinary journey that has brought together enthusiasts from every corner of the planet. 🌍❤️

🌉 How It All Began: A Bridge Between Cultures

Born from the synergy between the WBA Team and the Delta Alfa Group, the Award took its first steps on the 11-meter band 📻 with a clear objective that goes far beyond simple radio competition: acting as a bridge between different cultures. From day one, our mission has been to promote and share the historical, scenic, and touristic wonders of the Earth through radio waves. 🗣️💬 As we always love to say, “when radio comes from the heart, it has the power to unite beyond all borders.” ❤️🌍

📈 Unstoppable Evolution: Numbers and Growth

Over these past twenty-four months, the WBA has transformed from an exciting bet into a structured and well-respected international circuit. 🗺️ This evolution is clear for everyone to see:

• 📆 An increasingly packed activation calendar: From nature reserves to historical monuments, activations follow one another without pause. Just over the last few days, we have seen operators logging contacts from extraordinary places such as the Els Surars nature reserve in Spain 🇪🇸, the historic D-Day territories in France 🇫🇷, Gajkowska island and various castles in Poland 🇵🇱, all the way to Italian wonders like the striking Pan di Zucchero stack and the strongholds of Sulcis in Sardinia 🇮🇹.
• 🔢 Mind-boggling numbers: Thousands of QSOs completed, dozens of countries logged, and stable contacts constantly reaching all 5 continents. 📡 Our Hunters 🏹 and Activators ⛰️ demonstrate extraordinary dedication and technical skill every single day.
• 🎒 New challenges and special initiatives: The circuit has been enriched with innovative formats. A recent example is the CMSB 11m On The Trail Challenge—an exciting solo expedition featuring operator 165DA101 Alex—which is fully integrated into the official WBA circuit, proving how the Award continuously renews itself and offers fresh adventures to its members. 🥾🎒

🚀 Looking to the Future: The 2027 Technological Revolution

Our desire to grow never stops! 🛑 That is why we celebrate this two-year milestone not just by looking at what we have achieved, but with our eyes firmly set on the future. 🔭

Behind the scenes, the WBA Team is already actively working 💻 on designing and developing a major upgrade to all our technological solutions. This digital evolution will focus specifically on optimizing and automating our leaderboard scoring systems 📊, as well as providing an even smoother, faster, and more interactive management of our eQSLs 📧. This entire new tech infrastructure will be fully completed, tested, and operational starting in 2027 🚀, ensuring a top-tier user experience and interaction for all our members.
