The Osono Giants’ Tomb dominates the Osono plateau with its imposing size.
It is a Nuragic tomb of considerable size, consisting of a long corridor, a large exedra made of large granite orthostats, and a burial mound.Due to its characteristics and excellent state of preservation, it is a rare and precious example of Nuragic funerary architecture.
From the S.P. 55, heading towards Triei, turn left following the signs for the Bau Nuraxi complex and the Osono springs. At the end of the paved road, continue for about 3 km, passing the Bau Nuraxi Nuraghe. Park your car in the Osono springs’ forecourt and take a dirt road on the left, about 200 meters long, that leads to the springs’ clearing; the tomb is clearly visible on a small rise. https://www.sardegnaturismo.it/en/explore/giants-tomb-osono.
