The Rocca Manfrediana, also known as the Rocca dei Veneziani or more simply the Rocca di Brisighella, is a fortification located on the second of three selenite rock pinnacles in Brisighella, in the province of Ravenna, within the Regional Park of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola. The Rocca, dating back to 1310 and characterized by cylindrical towers (the tallest of which dates back to 1503), was rebuilt by the Venetians during the short period of their dominion over Romagna (1503-1509).
Inside is the Museo l’Uomo e il gesso (Man and Gypsum Museum), dedicated to the human relationship with the precious rock over the centuries.
