Here is Tommy’s self-presentaHello to all,my name is Tommy 13AT285. I am on 11m since April 21 1986 when I had the first QSO with an Station from Wales. At that time it was still in FM Mode but in the Regio of 26Mhz witch was much more Crowed back then like nowadays. Radio was a President Lincoln with 150w Amp and a DV 27 long mobile Antenne . I think she was 2,70m long on a hill in the neigborhood. I then also found out that there is some life on SSB, so I switch to that mode and made a lot of contacts with Stations from New Zealand and the USA/Canada.Somehow I foujnd at that time frame also ClusterDX in Denmark by Soren and about the famous Groundwave Magazin from the UK. There I found out that there is also a life on 27MHZ. i.e. 27555. So from that point I switched to the Band got an Kenwood TS 850s witch and BV2001 Amp and a 5 ele Yagi Beam I transmitted the first time from home, but the neighbors don´t liked it. Not because of TVI or other qrm , but because of my loud speaking in the middle of the Night and the windnoise of the Antenna. I then movedto our garden witch I am still sitting in now when I am working SIBA´s, IMA´s and that whole other stuff witch is on nowadays.As of today Ihave 295 DXCC´s worked and 294 DXCC´s confirmed but I guess #295 aka 349AT0 is coming soon to the colections.I hope there will be many more activations by the SIBA Team and that I can work most of them.And ofcourse I am happy also each time I hear my little friend Giacomino on the Air , even it´s just a little 73.Thanks for all de Tommy 13AT285
