The Torre di Mezza Spiaggia is located along the sandy shore of Poetto beach, in the Municipality of Cagliari.
Its construction dates back to the 16th century, the structure of the tower is made of limestone, with a truncated cone shape, with a height of about eight meters and a diameter of almost six meters, an internal room closed by a domed ceiling, surmounted in turn by a terrace, called piazza d’armi.
The interior of the tower is not accessible, as the entrance is currently walled up.
