A stone’s throw from the tuna fishery, from Porto Paglia, here is the beach of Sa Punta: a sea full of fish, shining, with coral sand that makes it crystal clear, that can stand up to any comparison with places much more famous. And expensive, perhaps on the other side of the world. But the beach that rests on the territory of the Municipality of Gonnesa, is for now a destination for tourists and true sea lovers. And what about the view? On the right Pan di Zucchero. If you then look to the left, here is Porto Paglia. In front of the beach there are immediately interesting seabeds, depths, that make it suitable for high-level snorkeling, in places where intercepting large fish and even turtles is not at all difficult.
Some argue analogies with the beaches of Brittany, Cornwall, making risky comparisons because the territory is typically Mediterranean with temperatures suitable for seaside stays all year round. «Affected» by the mistral wind, which largely spares it, the beach has always been assisted by a continuous service of lifeguards, which make it safe and practicable even for bathers who are not very expert swimmers.
