Punta de s’Aliga is a small peninsula located in the territory of Portoscuso, in the lower Sulcis. Characterized almost entirely by white sand with rather fine grains, with a shoreline covered by small dunes sometimes overlaid by Mediterranean scrub. There are small quantities of stranded Posidonia, it is rarely frequented even in high season. The sea has a low and sandy bottom and presents itself with a good polychromy between green and turquoise. Behind the beach, we find the Bau Cerbus lagoon, protected by regional restrictions as a Nature Reserve, which is home to flamingos, seagulls, herons, and numerous other small birds.
