Built in 1886 by the entrepreneur and surveyor Giuseppe Mosca of Cagliari, the Ex Stazione Segnali di Capo Sperone has not undergone significant changes over time, thus maintaining almost all of its original appearance. It is a longitudinal building on two levels with a turret, whose north elevation is vaguely classical in design, while the south elevation resembles the bow of a boat.
The wall system is made with basalt ashlars, while the corners of the wall are made with trachyte blocks; the plaster of the structure is made of hydraulic lime mortar and sea sand.
The sides of the openings are made of solid bricks on which a round arch is set in the main entrance, while in the window spaces and secondary entrances we find a lowered arch. Above the main entrance there is an oculus also made of solid bricks.
The roof is double-pitched and made with wooden trusses, whose peculiarity is given by the chain made of wood at the end and in the center by a metal sheet that connects the two wooden stumps, giving continuity to the chain. Superimposed on the truss are the purlins and the beams on which the tiles and in turn the tiles rest. The floor of the telegraph office is made up of a barrel vault in which the large antenna for radio communications is inserted. The interior is divided by a long corridor that separates the building into two parts. On the two sides of the corridor there are two rooms that were originally divided with solid brick partitions, today no longer present, the room on the east side housed the kitchen, while the west side was used for offices. The corridor ends with a flight of granite stairs that allows entry to the radio-transmitting office; just before this there is the entrance to the watchtower, which is accessed via a staircase that is made partly of granite and at its end of iron. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1N9DxSb67V15WEHY/
